Week 2 and 3

During Week 2 they poured the foundations walls and piers. When we visited the site, it looks like they took away the forms from Week 1 after the concrete hardened.

I guess that's some type of insulation that goes on the foundation.

Week 3 they completed the plumbing ground works and will be getting inspection on Monday. After they pass inspection they will backfill the ground works and prep to pour the concrete slab by the end of the week. Hopefully the weather cooperates. And the cicadas hold out. Otherwise we'll have cicada shells in our concrete foundation!
